Case of a man beaten to death in his Princeville home still unsolved - Edgecombe

George Thomas Harrison, 77 years old at the time was found beaten in his home on Mutual Blvd in Princeville on July 9th, 2010 and taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The suspect broke through a window in Harrisons home and attacked him around 6:05am. He was found not to long after the attack and taken to Pitt Memorial hospital where he died at 10:30am.
Harrison suffered blunt force trauma to the left side of his head with an undetermined blunt object. He was found with .10 cents in his pocket and still wearing a watch and a ring. Authorities have not released if robbery was the motive for the killing.
