SEEKING JUSTICE FOR BILLY RAY CHILDERS KILLED 12/5/2004 ON BOONE ST IN ROCKY MOUNT, NC

Billy Childers was sitting on the porch at 1208 Boone St in Rocky Mount drinking with his father, Sammy Childers and a friend Stanley Acrey on 12/05/2004.

A little after midnight, Stanley Acrey had went to bed and the father, Sammy Childers stated that two white males attacked him and Billy.

They fled in the house and shortly after Sammy had went to bed not knowing how severe he and his son were beaten. The next morning Stanley had awoken and saw Billy laying on the floor in the foyer and went to talk to Sammy who was still in bed, they spoke for a few minutes and then Stanley left and went to breakfast.

When he returned he stated that he went to talk to Sammy again and saw that he had been stabbed. He then went to wake up Billy and realized that he was dead.

Stanley then called 911 around 10:34am to report same.

EMS and Police arrived and Sammy was removed through a window to the ambulance in order not to disrupt the crime scene.
