SEEKING JUSTICE FOR TONEY GRANT KILLED 7/2/1996 AT 628 MYRTLE AVE ROCKY MOUNT, NC

On July 2nd 1996 in the early morning hours the Rocky Mount Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire at 628 Myrtle Ave in Rocky Mount, NC.

When the fire department arrived and made entry into the home they found Toney Grant 47, in the hallway of the residence outside of a burning bedroom.

Fire Fighters moved Grant outside and that is when they found out that he had been beaten and burned.

He had multiple blunt force injuries to the face and head and burns on his body.
